Carebase
Carebase is a UK-based care provider operating fourteen award-winning care homes.
From a design perspective, the challenge lies in creating consistent, high-quality visual communications that reflect the individual personality of each home while aligning with Carebase’s overall brand values: compassion, excellence, and community.
My role spaned both internal and external design needs, covering digital and print media to support marketing, recruitment, events, and resident engagement. With a focus on clarity, warmth, and accessibility, my work ensured that every piece of communication informed, but also connected with audiences on a personal level.
Dynamic social media
& video advertising
Social media is a key channel for Carebase, supporting both recruitment and community engagement. I designed a wide range of content, including static and carousel posts, stories, animations, and video ads. One of my proudest achievements was introducing video content into our social media strategy - a medium that had not been used by the company prior to my joining. Since then, video content has become a core part of the approach, consistently achieving engagement rates at least 10% higher than static posts. I’m passionate about using movement and storytelling to connect with audiences in a more impactful and human way.
Events & campaigns
I designed creative assets for both internal and external events, including themed signage, posters, invitations, and digital campaigns. These events range from community open days to internal recognition initiatives and care awards. Each campaign was crafted to reflect the tone and purpose of the event, while staying within the Carebase visual identity. My work supported the full lifecycle of each event - from pre-launch buzz and promotion to on-the-day materials and post-event communications.
Print & digital
marketing materials
From brochures and newsletters to email campaigns and direct mail, I produced marketing materials that helped tell the stories of our care homes, residents, and teams. Whether a printed brochure for prospective families or a digital mailer for internal updates, each piece was designed with clarity, warmth, and consistency in mind. These materials are essential in presenting Carebase’s values to the public and maintaining trust and engagement within the internal community.
